Create Your Own Vintage Hollywood Retreat
I love old movies. I love the glamour, the beauty, and the drama. Old movies are so passionate. With this in mind, I created this gorgeous Old Hollywood Inspired Bedroom. The one and only Elizabeth Taylor inspired this particular design. The purple tones were chosen with her gorgeous violet eyes in mind. Of course, when I think of Elizabeth Taylor I think of diamonds. The silver mirrored furniture and crystal lamp and chandelier are a glamorous way to accessorize this bedroom. The soft gray, tufted headboard is a perfect accent to the purple hues in the bedding and the sofa. Who wouldn’t love to step out of bed in the mornings and set your feet down on the luxurious softness of this aubergine sheepskin rug?
Couldn’t we all use a little more glamour in our lives? I would love to know what you think of this look. If you would like to see more like this in the future let me know. Maybe inspired by other iconic actresses?
